Oops.

Dear Cynthia and Woy--

I had a great time at BlogFest 13. Can't wait for the next one. I really enjoyed meeting the both of you and connecting with other Pittsburgh Blogging Royalty like 2PJ. (Although technically I only met 1PJ.)

In the giddiness caused by bumping elbows with so many creative minds AND a planned date night with my husband, I completely left Finnegan's Wake without settling my bill. My bad. It's not often that we get a baby sitter on a Friday night.

I had the crab dip and a Yuengling. Where can I mail my check for $12?

Bridges of Allegheny County

Good to know that the 8(!) bridges I cross every day to get to work are structurally sound. Check out where you live here.

Awesome Shirt

Sorry, PittGirl, it's not your shirt, but it is nevertheless awesome. The shirt is lighter weight, which would make it great for layering, but what could I possibly put on top of this that would make it more awesome? (Maybe some fries and some slaw?)

If you're in the market for a great Pittsburgh-themed shirt, definitely check these folks out. I ordered my shirt -- shirts, actually (someone's getting an awesome Christmas present!) -- this past Friday and they came today, hand packed personally by Pasqual. (Thank you, Pasqual.) Order a size up from your normal shirt size, ladies, as these are cut to fit your curves tightly.

You Are Here (in Pittsburgh)

Google Maps added Pittsburgh as one of the 14 cities you can now search with “Street View”. See the Post-Gazette article here.

Visit a familiar landmark here.

Click and drag the yellow guy to find an exact address, click on the arrows to rotate the view, and zoom in for a disturbingly close image. (I could practically sit on my front porch.)

Pitts_urgh, I Can Live Without the "B"

I'm writing this post because I've found found little public outrage on the unceremonious removal of my favorite radio station for the last six months, 93.7 "The Zone", otherwise known as "The Man Station".

Overlooking the obvious pandering to the Jimmy Kimmel sect in the naming of the station, the most recent programming on the hottest real estate in Radioland had something unusual to offer Pittsburgh: local talent.

How much more canned air can you swallow, Pitt_urgh? Do we really need more programming that predominantly features Phil Collins and Mariah Carey?

Pitts_urgh, you invented radio, why can't you get it right? I guess it's back to my iPod for my afternoon commute.... And to think my faith in the medium had nearly been restored. This whole thing just stinks like week-old haluski.

Staggy has no web presence, as far as I can tell.
