Back to the Grind
Long weekends are nice, but they sometimes make your four-day work weeks seem even longer. Rick and I had a busy time in Pittsburgh this Memorial Day weekend as we helped our very good friends Amanda and Josh celebrate the occasion of their marriage. Cats Still Fighting
I think they're pissed that we've been gone so much lately. They are having no-holds-barred death matches again. They seem to like to fight in particular around 5:30-6:00 a.m. We've had to separate them entirely; Eno in the backroom to hide--this morning she had crammed herself underneath my linens chest (about a 2 inch crawlspace off the floor)--and Casper with free reign of the rest of the apartment. All he does, however, is incessantly scratch at the closed door to the backroom. He can't seem to understand why his sister doesn't want to hang out with him anymore.
